Mónika Tóth New Poetry |Romanian poet

Mónika Tóth

The evening

The sky
is not quite black but I
can’t see a single star.

The evening is quiet and fresh.
I’m walking along the shore.

Evening it is.No work,
Just silence.
My heart  desires nothing.
I cry silently.

Afternoon sun soaked  in skin

Mid-afternoon sunrays beam-

I am tired.
My throat is dry
My mind is blank
My brain is asleep
Am struggling to keep awake.

I thinking of you,
my heart sprayed with new hope.

Afternoon sun
soaked in skin.

The noon rays....

The noon rays
whispers sweet nothings.
Fills the room with light.
Wakes you up for the day's work.
Life goes on.

Waiting for you to come back
That is autumn day
I look at the nightly stars
And wondered
If they can pass on my message
That I am still
Waiting for you to come back
I adore you so much

My joy is love

My life, once so dull,
Now feels immensely full.
My worries are all gone
Love and joy is everything.

You keep the spark alive,
so it never gets old.
My joy is love.

My discovery

I may not be perfect, but at least I know who I am.
I may not be a fighter
I may not have wings to fly, but my dreams have.
I may not be loved, but I am in love.
Captivating
My unhappiness

My life is just passing me by.

Your distance

Your voice
 Echoes in my heart,
your voice , echoes in my soul
Even when we are too far,
I know you are here.
Love knows no bounds.
Distance knows no bounds.

Love me well,
and I’ll burn eternal.
Love knows no bounds.
Distance knows no bounds

I lost myself

Have I lost the words?
My soul can't find them.
Or have I lost my soul,
That shed the words.
Have I lost the words?
My heart can't find them.
Or have I lost my heart
That shed the words.
Have I lost the words?

Where are the thoughts?
I lost myself
