The Canvas of the Heart

If I get the sky in my hand
I will turn it into a canvas for you.
 
If I get the ocean in my hand
I will make it ink to write about you.
 
If I get the sun in my hand
I would say please don't hurt
my dearest with too much heat.
 
If I get the moon in my hand
Truly I would request to keep
you in a pleasant peaceful soothing light
