Liberty at hand
An aged bird , living in a golden cage,
With his dear ones together whole life,
Suddenly notices the evening star getting prominent,
Understands the liberty at hand,
So, the golden cage is nothing to him.
Now he looks outside indifferently,
Again looks inside earnestly,
Keeps sitting glumly,
Thinks of his dear ones,
And sheds heart rending tears.
But such is life, can’t but touch liberty.
Nothing else
The cause of birth is certain death,
Yet, to keep on movement
Till the last breath.
Struggling and struggling
With both joys and sorrows
On the way of uphill and downhill journey,
Even though the last bell is heard,
How nice and loving, the life is.
