My Love Is Freedom

I have a love,
they call it freedom.
From deep within,
it's the love I sing laments for.
The one I've cried for, fought for,
the one I've etched into my very being.
I wish for it to last a lifetime,
for everyone to be free.
While chasing freedom,
the heart's pain never fades,
the path of this love never ends.
The fire of this love is like a seal,
stamped on my heart for a lifetime.
My love is the wind of freedom,
as it blows so gently,
you begin to tremble,
stumbling, swaying.
You hold tight to your love of freedom
so you don't lose it, to catch it.
You burn and turn into an ember for the sake of your love.
The fire of freedom is like gushing lava,
it envelops your body, burning and destroying.
My love of freedom
is like a mischievous child,
you protect and nurture its freedom,
you raise it with your love.
This is my love of freedom.
