Somaya Hosseini Roya Poetry| Mother Eternal Light

Mother Eternal Light

In darkest night, you give me light,
Your gaze dissolves death’s heavy plight.
Tears fall gently on your face,
Your smile restores my soul with grace.

When fear arrives, your name rings bright,
Your arms shield me from shadow’s bite.
Your evening prayer brings calm and peace,
Your love makes all my burdens cease.

You shine like sun through winter’s haze,
Your warmth endures through silent days.
In pain, in stillness, and hushed time,
Mother, your strength walks close to mine.
Your eyes a light that quiets and stays,
Your hands heal wounds from night’s malaise.

Your voice weaves threads of soul’s repair,
You are the grace that angels bear.
When you’re not near, I hold you tight,
In breath and dreams, you are my light.

Your name ascends with every prayer,
The sun that never leaves the air.
Mother, you are stillness serene,
The peace that lives in every green.
Your gaze ignites the stars above,
You are my prayer, my dream, my love.
Your love  a flame that glows so pure,
Your name makes night a blooming year.

You are the wind that carries pain,
The whisper when my heart’s in strain.
In tears I see your gentle glow,
Your name guides where I dare not go.

Always with me so soft, so true,
Your love is silent, wondrous too.
When you’re not there, the light feels lost,
But memory pays the tender cost.In silence,

still your heartbeat rings,
The sun within my shadowed springs.
I love you, Mother, without guise,
Your love a breath in life’s sunrise.

You are the meaning I have found,
Your gaze the prayer where life is crowned.

 Mother Eternal Light

is a lyrical homage to the quiet, healing, and timeless presence of a mother, a gentle voice from the depths of the soul that shines through even the darkest hours. Interwoven with powerful imagery of light, prayer, silence, and love, this poetic piece explores the sacred bond between mother and child, a connection untouched by time, sorrow, or distance.

Told through the eyes of a child, the poem portrays the mother's soul as a winter sun, a whisper that heals, a memory that endures. The language is spiritual and tender, rich with metaphor and a celestial calm, inviting the reader to a profound inner stillness.

This poem is not only a tribute to motherhood, but a lyrical dialogue with love, longing, hope, and remembrance where each verse becomes a quiet prayer murmured through the night.
