Poetry about Krishna by Pran G Basak

Krishna oh krishna .
by Pran G Basak

1
In the realm of silence, whispers dwell untold,
Names on waiting lists, stories yet unfold.
Step by step, silence navigates its way,
Yet waves of melancholy disrupt its sway.
In the quiet expanse, secrets quietly reside,
Names unspoken, veiled by time’s tide.
Silence persists, moving with gentle grace,
Yet waves of emotion disturb its tranquil space.
2
On one nail, the mosquito net swings low,
Last mosquito songs fade as morning’s glow.
Your skilled hands, restless, yet in command,
Ensuring all is managed, nothing unmanned.
With expertise, you handle each task with care,
No detail overlooked, no burden to bear.
In the quiet dawn, your efforts shine bright,
The net secure, as day turns to light.
3
Restless beats within my chest do thrum,
Favourite words upon damp canvas, still and numb.
Left under the sun’s gaze, from dawn ‘til rise,
When will I take flight, towards boundless skies?
Leaving attachments behind, I’ll soar high,
Towards the heavens, where dreams touch the sky.
In each beat, a longing to break free,
From worldly binds, to find serenity.

4
Dry rice with mustard oil and spice,
For a weary youth, grey in his guise.
Back from college, no dreams to spin,
Just striving for labor in smoky din.
No poems to craft, no visions to see,
Only a target in twilight’s decree.
With rice and spice, his path is clear,
Aiming for labor, without fear.
5
Time’s gentle touch warms the soul,
Eyes speak in whispers, their tales untold.
Feathers poised, ready to take flight,
In the soft embrace of dawn’s first light.
As moments dance in the morning’s grace,
Embracing change, in this sacred space.
Each heartbeat, a rhythm, a silent cry,
In the language of time, we learn to fly.

6
With each breath, she draws near,
Flesh and bone adorned, yet clear.
Bold hues of life paint the skin,
Yet within, a void lies deep within.
As colors fade, and time stands still,
The essence remains, beyond mere will.
In the emptiness, a beauty to behold,
For in zero, truths are told.
7
In the rush of unspoken words untold,
A shadow’s embrace, a sight to behold.
Midst the troubled noon’s solitary gleam,
Your face emerges like a dream.
Where doth happiness hide, unseen,
Beneath a veil, in realms serene?
In the depths of solitude, it does hover,
Awaiting discovery, beneath its cover.

8

Within the heap of words, a tale untold,
Outside, seeking the green signal bold.
Amidst the symphony of rain’s sweet refrain,
Amoment of clarity, amidst life’s mundane.
In nature’s chorus, a message clear,
Through rain’s song, the path appears.
Amidst the downpour’s gentle reign,
A journey begins, amidst the rain.

9

Intense tornado, heedless, it roams,
Unseeing of cloud or light in human homes.
Where thunder’s roar, with merciless might,
Destroys the threads of life in its plight.
In the eye of chaos, lives are torn asunder,
As nature’s fury unleashes its thunder.
Yet in the aftermath, amidst the strife,
Hope emerges from the wreckage of life.

10

In June’s lament, cuckoos cry bitter tunes,
Recalling the sweetness of April’s dunes.
With memories woven of soft moon’s light,
And the earth’s whispers in the quiet of night.
Through the passage of time, endlessly,
Hope wanes as days drift aimlessly.
Yet in the echoes of April’s gentle call,
Hope springs anew, embracing all.
