Peace and Love

I travelled in directions four
I tried to knock every door
To find "Peace and Love "
People said they are not to be found
Here, conflicts and rifts abound
I then went to forests deep
I also climbed the Mountains steep
Peace and love was in abundance there
As man was in sight nowhere
I thought of carrying Peace and Love in my heart
And I was ready to depart
And as I stepped into cities and towns
In the ocean of noise the Peace drowned
Love lost its character and became lust
In my heart there was a mound of dust
We live in times where Peace is fragile
Peace is forsaken like an abandoned child
Remember the words of this bard please
That you can't rest in peace if you don't live in Peace.
