I always

Talk too much.

Laugh too much.

Feel too much.

Hurt too much.

I am a sinner

I am romantic pessimist

I don’t cry anymore.

Sometimes

The well has run dry.

I am but a withered and weathered

thing.

I am diamond.

Now watch me sparkle.

It’s my time to shine.

Sometimes

I am an ocean of emotion,

and poetry is one

of the few ways in which

I am able to express myself.

Memories

I can't erase all we had memories.

At least I see you in my dreams at night.

At least memories we had still I can't forget.

I want to forget him!

Honestly,

I've tried.

But,

Somehow,

Some way,

I just can't forget his presence.

When

When I miss your soul,

I send my heart,

hidden explorer, to you

I imagine we are together again,

at least for a few moments,

and our souls thread like in the old times…

A moment in time when you stop and think.

You try and tell yourself that all is fine.

But the moment reminds you.

How far away those goals all are.

The journey we take, may not be fair.

You know you just can’t give up this fight.
