TURNING VERSES INTO PRAYER

Show me the right way,
And save us from lies and revenge,
Let there be no place for flattery in us,
And let there be no insults in us.
 
So that anger does not take hold of us,
And we did not know despondency,
So that we don 't become boring,
We would like to do good deeds.
 
So as not to get sick with pride,
So that envy doesn 't eat us up,
So that the soul does not suffer from everything,
Give us the strength to overcome it.
 
And save me from greed,
And from sinful fornication too,
If we judge ourselves more strictly,
the steps of life will become easier.
 
Continuing his mortal path,
I will only think about the eternal.
I don't want to be reckless.
Isn't that what life is all about?
 
Help me to atone for my sins!
Preserve and save us, O God!
Because we can become better,
Turning verses into prayer.
 

ПРЕВРАЩАЯ В МОЛИТВУ СТИХИ

Укажите мне праведный путь,
И спасите от лжи и мести,
Пусть не будет в нас места лести,
И обид в нас не будет пусть.
 
Что бы гнев нами не овладел,
И уныния мы не знали,
Чтоб занудами мы не стали,
Совершить нам благих бы дел.
 
Чтоб гордыней не заболеть,
Чтобы зависть нас не съедала,
Чтоб душа от всего не страдала,
Дай нам сил её одолеть.
 
И от алчности убереги,
И от блуда греховного тоже,
Если станем судить себя строже -
Станут лёгкими жизни шаги.
 
Продолжая свой бренный путь,
Буду думать я лишь о вечном.
Мне не хочется слыть беспечной.
Разве жизни не в этом суть?
 
Помоги замолить грехи!
Сохрани и спаси нас, Боже!
Потому, что мы лучше стать можем,
Превращая в молитву стихи.
