Poetry By Carl Scharwath: Guest Poet

Carl Scharwath

Whispered Ocean Breeze

A tattered red hat drifts from a girl's head,
caught in an ocean's breeze, carrying her memories,
as she contemplates the world to come.

Muted Apocalypse

The world ended today,
seen only by a homeless woman-
scattering her final crumbs for pigeons
before they soared into the void.

Weaving Dreams

Your final words, like ripples
on a secluded, secret pond
bekon me with an acousmatic harmony.

Disorientation

A shattered compass spinning wild,
points to shadows and veiled lies.
No north to guide, I stumble blind,
lost in the maze of twisted-truths.
